The kings vs Clippers game

The kings vs Clippers game was a sold out affair. The fans are trying to prove to the Maloofs that they still support the team. and they don't want them to move the team.
ARCO was loud, and it was rocking.

For that game, and that night I was reminded of old times. Playing the Lakers in the Playoffs.
This game was a very emotional game for the fans. There were some nice signs. My personal favorite was the one with mickey mouse and a line through it.

I heard people chanting "here we stay, not L.A." "Sacramento" "Beat L.A."

On to the Actual game itself
Marcus Thorton had a good game his first game in his debut in Sac-town. He scored 29 points and 4 reboands, Cousins I think has hit the rookie wall. Beno played good as well he had 19 points and 5 rebounds, but he also had 5 turnovers. Omri was another player who played well. He had 15 points and 8 rebounds.
In the end they got the win because Jordan win to the line twice. Missed his shoots.
And Thorton went to the line and made his shoots.

“Yeah, definitely (the crowd was a factor),” Blake Griffin said. “The Kings just picked up the energy, picked up the intensity, and the crowd really got into it.”
Home crowd Clippers Head Coach Vinny Del Negro
“You just try to put yourself in the position to win. Of course you want to have a cushion, but it doesn’t always work like that. Last five or six minutes they really took it to us. Our turnovers like I said got the crowd into the game. They got some easy ones. We couldn’t set our defense and their field goal percentage went up because of that and ours went down. That was the difference.”
On the energy at ARCO Arena Omri Casspi
“It was fun. Anytime we’re able to have a sellout arena, at ARCO our great fans are so supportive of us. The energy was great and we’re going to have a lot more like this before the end of the season.”

On playing in front of this crowd tonight Marcus Thorton
“Great atmosphere. Even though there were things going on, I didn’t know that. Obviously they want us to stay here. The fans are great; even though we were down they got behind us and encouraged us. That was a big part of the game tonight.”
